What Are Custom Networks?
Custom networks (like EVM chains or testnets) let advanced users connect Exodus Wallet to networks not available by default.
Why Add a Custom Network?
- Access tokens and dApps not available on standard networks.
- Test network features with minimal risk.
- Expand your crypto toolkit across multiple ecosystems.
Steps to Add a Custom Network
- Step 1: Open Exodus → go to Settings > Networks.
- Step 2: Click Add Custom Network.
- Step 3: Enter:
- Network Name (e.g., BSC Testnet)
- RPC URL
- Chain ID
- Symbol (e.g., BNB)
- Explorer URL (optional)
- Step 4: Save and select your custom network.
- Step 5: Switch network in Exodus to use it.
Important Tips
- Use trusted RPC endpoints only.
- Check chain IDs from official sources.
- Start with small transactions.
Troubleshooting
- If loading fails, re-check RPC URL and chain ID.
- Ensure Exodus is updated to the latest version.
- Try alternate RPC endpoints.
