Step 1: Download Exodus Wallet
Visit the official Exodus website and download the wallet for your platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS).
Step 2: Install the Application
On desktop, open the downloaded file and follow the installation prompts. On mobile, install the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 3: Open the App and Create a Wallet
Launch Exodus and click “Create Wallet.” You’ll immediately get access to your dashboard, but don’t forget to back it up!
Step 4: Backup Your Recovery Phrase
Write down your 12-word recovery phrase and store it in a safe, offline location. This is the only way to recover your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.
Step 5: Enable Security Features
Set a password, enable biometric login (on mobile), and adjust your security preferences for maximum protection.
Step 6: You're Ready to Use Exodus
You can now receive, send, and buy crypto using the Exodus Wallet interface. Explore its features like staking, portfolio tracking, and in-app swaps.
