Why Isn't Bitcoin Cash Showing in Exodus Wallet?
Several factors can cause your BCH balance to not appear correctly in Exodus:
- Outdated Exodus version missing BCH updates
- Network or blockchain sync issues
- Hidden or disabled BCH wallet within Exodus
- Corrupted wallet data or cache
Step 1: Update Exodus to the Latest Version
Always make sure your Exodus Wallet is running the latest software to support all cryptocurrencies properly:
- Go to Settings > About > Check for updates.
- Download and install any available updates.
Step 2: Enable Bitcoin Cash Wallet
Sometimes, the BCH wallet may be disabled in Exodus:
- Navigate to Settings > Wallet.
- Scroll and toggle on the Bitcoin Cash option.
- Restart Exodus to refresh wallet balances.
Step 3: Refresh or Resync Your Wallet
Refreshing your wallet helps fix sync issues:
- Click on the Bitcoin Cash wallet.
- Open the settings gear icon.
- Click Rescan Wallet or Refresh.
- Wait for the sync to complete. This can take a few minutes.
Step 4: Clear Cache and Restart Exodus
Cache corruption can cause display problems:
- Close Exodus completely.
- Clear the cache via the app settings or reinstall Exodus if needed.
- Open Exodus again and check if BCH appears.
Step 5: Import Your Wallet with Private Keys
If all else fails, you may import your BCH private keys into another wallet or reinstall Exodus and restore using your 12-word recovery phrase.
